Smoooth

Been jamming to a few smooth tunes as of late, stuff I can put on in the background at college, seems to be going down O.K. with everyone there, so why not post it? I thought that too.

To kick off the list, St Germain. Tight jazz-y House, it's all about those horns.

16ArmedJack Returns

After an absence of far too fucking long, 16ArmedJack is back in the producer's chair and has, over the past several months, been serving us only the finest and most mangled amens and Ragga Jungle mashup business. As far as I'm concerned, 16AJ can be very fairly included in the cream of today's Jungle scene. Turn up the subs and listen dis

Chopabilly

Slam on a pair of headphones, crank up the 'lume and brock the fuck out. Sifakalaka (going under the name of o . o துஈசிதிசி திஇல்டூ on soundcloud) comes up with some astonishingly fresh sounding beats, chopping, hacking, smashing, splicing and dicing artists like Bjork and Percy Sledge in a different way everytime, but still keeping his (I think) self made Genre: 'Chopabilly'.

tinkerbell ft. The Silhouettes by o . o துஈசிதிசி திஇல்டூ
"Sifaka Kong does not master his music in the tradtional sense, creating a final product that sounds horrible over nearly any type of speaker. Instead each song is specifically mastered to his personal set of headphones (which he goes through approximately two pairs per month.)" - Taken from his bio on his Soundcloud page.

Young Montana?

Young Montana? caught my ear a while back. They dip and dive between genres, my favourite being 'Quietcore' (love the idea of that!). I've had a few of their tunes on constant rinse & repeat, particularly 'Sacré Cool' which embodies the choppy broken beat hip hop I've been delving into of late. They're absolute chefs at chopping shit up, leaving room in their tunes for the music.

Highly recommend you check their shit out (you can grab 'Sacré Cool' here), bless!
