Noiseshaper - Bushmaster

Can't get to Zion with a bushmaster, an M16 or a revolver.

Absolute riddim that spreads some wisdom, this was one of the first tunes to get me deep into reggae and dub. From the King Size Dub 11 compilation which is highly recommended.

Wish I had The Noises To Make

Naija Bagi and Tullis Rennie are from Manchester and Barcelona respectively have been making beats since a sporadic performance in 2009.

They've not long released their first EP together called The Electronic Exchange - some deep, industrial sounds coming out of this one giving a dubby flavour. I'd recommend checking out 'Noises'.

Shout out to Acre for catching this one

Big tings.

Branches

Don't know much about the original other than it's off Silje Nes' new album 'Optiks', but this is such a good result to a remix competition.

This is without doubt my favourite.

From the Ashes

After many months in the dark ages, I finally got my computer fixed! Also grabbed myself a 160gB iPod to expand my musical know how.

First things first, one I've been meaning to post for a while - Cuthead.

If you like what you hear you can pick up one of his albums - City Slicker - here.

Next up for now is Kuhn bringing a fresh sound. Make sure you try and get your head round 'Quiet Nights'.

He runs a blog called Astro Nautico, with some of the biggest new riddims around, you'll probably see me 'recycle' alot from Astro Nautico if you keep an eye on it.
